We first surveyed the 1st Grade Girls. And it so happened that a lot of these people put us in a position that we came to believe that a lot of them thought of Courage, grace, and friends. We've done the girls, but here come the boys. The 1st Grade boys were an interesting bunch to hear what THEY had to say. As the girls did they also thought of Courage and Grace, but also came up with generosity. The First Graders generally thought that Shipley followed their motto: "Courage for the deed, grace for the doing" and that it was a caring place.

Wait on a second! Here come the Kindergarteners. These kids were pretty fun to survey because they were generally mixed with mainly happy feelings. So far for the younger kids they seem as if they really enjoy our school. Will their feelings be the same by the time they reach the peak of Lower School at 5th Grade? Only time will tell. The bigger words that came up were Book Buddies, Courage, and Fun.

in Pre-Kindergarten boys- Words that popped up were specials, fun and activities.
Pre-Kindergarten all- Words that popped up were courage, friends and fun
